Lake Lane property has been known for many many years as being heavily populated with whitetail and that is what you will find when hunting at Lake Lane. We have 55 acres of prime hunting land for not only whitetail but turkey, geese, bear, and most small game. Lake Lane is handicap accessible for hunting. You can even enjoy hunting out of a heated cabin, no need to freeze unless you really want to. Lake Lane only accepts so many hunters at one time and you are not guaranteed a catch. Season dates-May 1-31, 2011-two bearded turkeys only one per day, one half hour before sunrise to noon.
Spring Youth Hunt-April 23&24, 2011-must be accompanied by an adult, have a junior hunting license, accompanying adult must have a current hunting license and turkey permit. Adult may assist the youth hunter (including calling), but may not carry a firearm or longbow, or kill or attempt to kill a wild turkey during the youth hunt.
12-15 years of age, one bearded turkey after May 1.
